Second-Half Rally Downs Gamecocks 74-57

After holding a one-point lead at halftime, South Carolina struggled with turnovers in the second half in a 74-57 loss at Wake Forest Wednesday morning. Seniors Demetress Adams and Brionna Dickerson led the offense with 15 points each, the third-straight 15-point game for Dickerson, as the Gamecocks shot a season-high 44.4 percent from the field in the game. South Carolina also won the battle of the boards with a 44-28 edge over the Demon Deacons. more

Gamecock Men's Basketball To Hold Ladies Clinic This Saturday

University of South Carolina head men's basketball coach Darrin Horn and his staff will host the inaugural Darrin Horn Ladies Clinic on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, from 1-3 p.m. The event will benefit the American Cancer Society and the fight against breast cancer. Check-in will be from 12-1 p.m. at Colonial Life Arena, while parking will be available across the street from the arena. Cost for the clinic is $30. All registered attendees will receive a Ladies Clinic T-shirt, along with the opportunity to interact with Gamecock men's basketball players and coaches while gaining an insight into the game of basketball. Downey Leads Gamecocks Past Princeton, 84-58
